IHI Report Offers Roadmap for Patient and Family Partnerships

Toolkit – Determining the Business Case for Quality
Posted: 6/27/2008 In response to widespread interest in making the business case for quality programs, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement has published the Adverse Events Prevented Calculator. This tool models the financial implications of reductions in adverse event rates within an organization, including translation of actual and potential improvement results into projected lives and dollars saved.
