High Reliability Organizations (HROs)

Commonly discussed examples of HROs are air traffic control systems, nuclear power plants, and naval aircraft carriers. Studies reveal HROs to have common features, including a preoccupation with failure, commitment to resilience, sensitivity to operations and culture of safety.
